• Police seized multiple devices containing more than 1.4 million files, distilling the cache to about 550,000 unique child abuse images and tens of thousands of videos.
• The Sydney childcare worker was charged in July with seven counts of using a child to make abusive material, including three aggravated counts, as well as possessing such material on a phone.
• The AFP fears the man abused multiple children over an extended period after working at numerous daycare centres across the city for more than a decade.
