  • CEO Andrew Dillon announced the division of Laura Kane’s former football brief into two positions on May 29 to address growing operational and performance demands.
  • Kane will serve as Executive General Manager of Football Operations overseeing AFL, AFLW, VFL and VFLW seasons plus a newly formed health and medical team focused on mental health and concussion.
  • The league has opened recruitment for an Executive General Manager of Football Performance to manage the Match Review Office, umpiring, game analysis and player movement.
  • Long-serving inclusion and social policy chief Tanya Hosch will depart on June 6 and the integrity portfolio will shift to the incoming chief operating officer as general counsel Stephen Meade exits the executive team.
