AFL Player Noah Balta Charged with Assault in NSW

Richmond Football Club confirmed the charge following an alleged altercation at a sports club in Mulwala, leaving a man injured.

Noah Balta, a 25-year-old player for the Richmond Tigers, was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm after an incident in Mulwala, NSW.
The alleged altercation occurred at a sports club early Monday morning, resulting in a 27-year-old man sustaining a head laceration and being hospitalized in stable condition.
Balta was arrested at Mulwala Police Station on Tuesday and later released on conditional bail.
He is scheduled to appear before Corowa Local Court on January 30, 2025, as the case proceeds through the legal system.
Richmond Football Club has informed the AFL of the incident and stated it will not comment further as the matter is now before the courts.
