- Greg Swann will begin his role as the AFL’s Executive General Manager of Football Performance on July 21 after being appointed on June 2.

- Swann’s remit includes oversight of umpiring, the match review system, laws of the game, game analysis and club engagement.
- He brings over 25 years of AFL club administration experience from CEO stints at Collingwood, Carlton and the Brisbane Lions.
- Sam Graham, Brisbane Lions’ chief operating officer, is expected to succeed Swann as the club’s CEO.
