Overview

Afghanistan will play a one-off Test on October 20 at Harare Sports Club, followed by T20Is on October 29, October 31 and November 2.
Hashmatullah Shahidi is appointed captain for the Test, while Rashid Khan will lead the T20I side after skipping the red-ball match.
The Test squad blends retained players with maiden call-ups for Zia Ur Rahman Sharifi, Sharafuddin Ashraf and Khalil Gurbaz after strong domestic red-ball performances.
Ibrahim Zadran serves as T20I vice-captain in a 15-player group that includes Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Mohammad Nabi and Mujeeb Ur Rahman.
Reserves include Ibrahim Abdulrahimzai, Sediqullah Atal and Shams Ur Rahman for the Test, with AM Ghazanfar and Faridoon Dawoodzai on standby for T20Is, as the ACB credits domestic and high-performance programs for the talent pipeline.
