• Afghan women filed 3,104 asylum applications in July 2025, more than twice the 1,334 lodged in June.
• Follow-up requests jumped to 5,366 in July, over double the 2,545 recorded in June.
• Of the nearly 9,600 Afghan women who have applied so far in 2025, almost half were follow-up requests from residents seeking full asylum status.
