The movie, initially pitched as 'The Animals of Los Angeles' and 'Be Gentlemen', could begin shooting in Los Angeles as early as March.
Affleck and Damon's production company, Artists Equity, will produce the film, in partnership with Fifth Season.
The pair have been best friends and collaborators for decades, with their first major success being the Oscar-winning screenplay 'Good Will Hunting'.
