The AfD has confirmed receiving an inheritance worth nearly €6 million from a former supporter in Berlin-Dahlem, as reported in its yet-to-be-published 2023 financial report.
The inheritance includes two multi-family houses in Berlin-Dahlem and Berlin-Schöneberg, valued at over €4 million combined.
The party's total assets grew from €23.5 million in 2022 to approximately €38.3 million in 2023, marking a significant financial boost.
The AfD has also received multiple other large donations during the current Bundestag election campaign.
The party, classified as partially far-right, is running Alice Weidel as its chancellor candidate for the February 23 election, with other parties ruling out potential coalitions.
