CJ Perry, a star of All Elite Wrestling (AEW), has undergone surgery for a serious infection that started in her finger and spread up her arm.
Perry was hospitalized for over 50 hours before the surgery, and had to miss several wrestling events due to her condition.
The infection forced Perry to miss her debut in Mexico with Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) and an AEW television taping.
Perry, who also manages fellow wrestler Andrade, joined AEW in September after a stint with WWE from 2013 to 2021.
The wrestling community has expressed concern and sent well wishes for Perry's recovery.
