AEW Fires CM Punk After Backstage Altercation with Jack Perry at All In Event

CM Punk was fired by AEW after a physical altercation with Jack Perry backstage at the All In pay-per-view event in London.
The altercation stemmed from a disagreement between Punk and Perry over using real glass for a wrestling spot during the event.
An internal investigation by AEW led to a unanimous recommendation by the Discipline Committee to terminate Punk's contract.
AEW President Tony Khan made the decision to fire Punk, thanking him for his contributions but citing the interests of AEW's talent and staff.
This was Punk's second backstage altercation with AEW talent, following a brawl with The Elite after September's All Out event.
