• Joe Perry told WBUR that Steven Tyler “doesn’t want to tour and he can’t tour,” effectively ruling out any multi-date farewell trek.
• Perry said he “would bet that there’s an Aerosmith show left” and confirmed the band is in talks for a documentary project.
• The group formally retired from touring in August 2024 after Tyler fractured his larynx during the 2023 Peace Out tour.
• Since the retirement, Tyler has made only occasional public appearances at charity and benefit events, most recently at Black Sabbath’s Back to the Beginning benefit.
