AERA Sets Interim User Fees for Navi Mumbai International Airport

Interim user development charges will feed early revenue until permanent tariffs are set ahead of the airport’s August 2025 opening.

Overview

  • AERA approved ad-hoc UDF for the 2025–26 financial year, effective from the start of commercial operations until March 31, 2026, or until regular tariffs are determined
  • Departing passengers will pay ₹620 for domestic flights and ₹1,225 for international departures, with arrival fees fixed at ₹270 and ₹525 respectively
  • The Adani Group has committed ₹57,333 crore in investment through FY30, funding dual runways, two terminals, cargo facilities and a multimodal transport hub
  • Navi Mumbai International Airport is scheduled to begin operations in August 2025 with an initial capacity to handle 20 million passengers annually, rising to 50 million by FY30
