  • Only high-impact systems expected to trigger orange or red alerts will receive names.
  • The 2025–2026 season begins with a prefixed, alternating list of names, starting with Alice.
  • The naming will be coordinated through the Grupo Suroeste Storm Naming program with Portugal, France, Belgium, Luxembourg and Andorra.
