ADR Analysis Names Banerjee Poorest CM, Naidu Richest in Latest Affidavit Review

The study uses election affidavits to detail assets, liabilities plus criminal cases for 30 chief ministers.

  • West Bengal’s Mamata Banerjee declares assets of Rs 15.38 lakh, all movable with no immovable property.
  • Andhra Pradesh’s N. Chandrababu Naidu tops the list with over Rs 931 crore as Arunachal Pradesh’s Pema Khandu follows at Rs 332 crore, making them the only two billionaire CMs.
  • Wealth distribution per ADR shows 53% of CMs in the Rs 1–10 crore band, 30% at Rs 11–49 crore, 10% at Rs 50 crore and above, and 7% below Rs 1 crore, with J&K’s Omar Abdullah at Rs 55.2 lakh.
