Overview
- ADOT, which scheduled overnight restrictions for Friday night through Monday morning, urges drivers to allow extra time and follow posted detours across the Valley.
- Southbound SR 51 will be closed between Northern and Highland avenues from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for pavement work, with I-17 serving as the main alternate route.
- Southbound Loop 101 in the West Valley will be closed between Indian School Road and I-10 from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday to start the Loop 101 and I-10 interchange upgrade that adds an elevated HOV bridge.
- Deck Park Tunnel maintenance will close I-10 in two windows, with eastbound lanes shut from the I-17 Stack to SR 51 Friday 9 p.m. to Saturday 9 a.m. and westbound lanes shut from the I-17 Split to 7th Avenue Saturday 9 p.m. to Sunday 9 a.m., with detours via I-17.
- Other limits include Loop 101 in Scottsdale narrowed to two lanes between Shea Boulevard and Princess Drive, eastbound Loop 202 narrowed between Arizona Avenue and McQueen Road with an on-ramp and Lindsay Road closure, and a short eastbound Loop 303 closure between 43rd Avenue and I-17 early Saturday; ADOT advises checking AZ511 for real-time updates as schedules can change.
