Adobe Premiere Mobile Lands on Android

Phone creators gain desktop-style editing, Firefly generative tools, 4K export, no-login watermark-free access on Android 13 devices with 5GB of RAM.

Overview

  • Adobe launched Premiere mobile for Android Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2026, and the app is live and free to download from the Google Play Store.
  • The app offers a full multi-track timeline, frame-accurate trimming, templates, Enhance Audio one-tap noise cleanup, and exports up to 4K without watermarks or forced logins.
  • Firefly-powered generative features such as Generative Fill, Image-to-Video, and Generate Sound Effects are built in but rely on limited free tokens and paid generative credits for heavier use.
  • The app requires Android 13 or later and a minimum of 5 GB of RAM, which Adobe says lets it run across foldables and many modern phones but excludes older or budget devices.
  • Adobe positions Premiere mobile as the successor to Premiere Rush, plans to end Rush support on Sept. 30, and has a roadmap that includes desktop project continuity, Adobe Fonts, enhanced captions and regional features starting with Hindi.
