- Adobe announced Wednesday that Firefly AI Assistant lets users describe outcomes in plain English while it coordinates multi‑step tasks across Photoshop, Premiere, Lightroom, Illustrator, Express and other Creative Cloud apps.
- The assistant is slated for a public beta in the coming weeks, and Adobe has not disclosed pricing, usage limits or which customer tiers will get access.
- New Firefly tools are rolling out now, including Enhance Speech for cleaner dialogue, controls to cut noise and reverb, advanced color sliders, and direct access to more than 800 million Adobe Stock assets in the Video Editor.
- Image editing gains Precision Flow to browse many variations from one prompt and AI Markup to place or refine elements by painting areas to change.
- Firefly now taps more than 30 outside AI models such as Kling 3.0, Google’s Nano Banana 2 and Veo 3.1, Runway Gen‑4.5 and ElevenLabs, and Adobe says creators will be able to reach Firefly features from third‑party AI surfaces like Anthropic’s Claude.
