ADNOC Gas, HPCL Seal 10-Year LNG Deal Worth Up to $3 Billion

  • ADNOC Gas and Hindustan Petroleum signed a 10-year LNG sale and purchase agreement for 0.5 million tonnes per year.
  • The contract was concluded during UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s visit to India for talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
  • Cargoes will be delivered to HPCL’s 5 mtpa Chhara regasification terminal in Gujarat to support refineries, city gas networks, and sectors such as fertilizers, power, and petrochemicals.
  • Supplies will originate from ADNOC’s Das Island liquefaction facility, with the deal valued at roughly $2.5–$3 billion.
