Overview
- Located about 120 kilometres offshore, the project will install a new platform with four gas production wells connected to Das Island.
- Operations will be controlled remotely from Arzanah Island using advanced digital systems and artificial intelligence to improve efficiency and safety.
- Produced gas will tie into ADNOC Gas facilities for treatment through existing infrastructure to capture synergies and reduce new build requirements.
- Planned output is expected to supply energy equivalent to more than 300,000 homes once ramped to roughly 200 million scfd before the end of the decade.
- ADNOC did not disclose the investment value, and the move follows nearly $17 billion of Hail and Ghasha contracts in 2023 plus up to $11 billion in structured financing secured last month toward a concession plateau of about 1.8 billion scfd.
