Overview
- According to Yogi Adityanath, PRAGATI has expedited projects worth over ₹86 lakh crore nationally, with 377 major projects reviewed by the prime minister and 2,958 of 3,162 issues resolved.
- He said Uttar Pradesh now has 330 infrastructure projects totaling ₹10.48 lakh crore, with 128 projects worth ₹2.37 lakh crore completed and 202 projects worth ₹8.11 lakh crore progressing on schedule.
- The chief minister reported that 65 major UP projects worth ₹4.19 lakh crore are under PRAGATI monitoring, of which 26 are completed and 39 are under implementation.
- State officials have identified 515 issues in UP, with 494 resolved, and under PRAGATI specifically 278 of 287 issues have been addressed, reflecting resolution rates near 96–97%, he said.
- Adityanath traced PRAGATI’s origins to Gujarat’s 2003 SWAGAT model and described the platform as a single digital interface that enables inter-departmental coordination and quicker decisions.
