Overview
- The jamboree begins November 23 at the Defence Expo Ground in Vrindavan Colony following the chief minister’s on-site review and directive to allow no lapses.
- Organisers are installing 16 German hangars, 600 water tanks, 30 RO points, more than 2,200 toilets, 100 kitchens and four central kitchens to serve tens of thousands.
- Security provisions include a temporary police station, 11 fire tenders and dedicated mobile connectivity, with a 3,500-seat conference hall readied for sessions.
- Delegations are expected from Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Afghanistan and other Asia-Pacific countries, alongside large contingents from across India.
- More than 100 exhibits will showcase ODOP products, a NEDA solar pavilion, robotics, a planetarium and AI zones, with organisers touting work opportunities for local vendors and staff.
