Adityanath Chairs Saharanpur Division Review and Launches Rs 2,517 Crore Meerut Township

  • Adityanath convened MLAs from Muzaffarnagar, Saharanpur and Shamli at the Saharanpur Circuit House to reaffirm integrated regional growth under the ‘New Uttar Pradesh’ agenda.
  • He ordered first-phase prioritization of all interstate connectivity projects in the division and mandated MLA consultation for all urban development proposals.
  • He inaugurated the renovated Amrit Sarovar at the Baba Jaharveer Goga Mhadi temple and unveiled 15 development projects worth Rs 381 crore in Saharanpur.
  • He performed the bhoomi pujan for a Rs 2,517 crore integrated township in Meerut under the Chief Minister Urban Expansion scheme.
  • He announced the establishment of a Major Dhyan Chand sports university in Meerut and distributed Rs 93 crore in assistance to young entrepreneurs, self-help groups and housing beneficiaries.
