Adidas to Sell Remainder of Yeezy Inventory, Donate Proceeds to Social Justice Groups

Adidas is selling leftover Yeezy sneakers to resolve a $1.3 billion inventory problem caused by severing ties with Kanye West over antisemitic remarks.
Adidas ended its partnership with Kanye West in October 2022, resulting in the termination of Yeezy branded products and a loss of $1.5 billion from West's net worth.
The first batch of Adidas’ remaining Yeezys went on sale on Wednesday through Adidas’ app “Confirmed”.
Part of the profits will be donated to organizations including the Anti-Defamation League and the Philonise & Keeta Floyd Institute for Social Change.
Adidas reported a loss of 600 million euros ($655 million) in sales for the last three months of 2022 due to cutting ties with Kanye West.
