Adi Karmayogi Rollout Reaches Districts as Sonitpur and Kalaburagi Begin Trainings

The drive uses master trainers to start participatory village planning toward national saturation targets.

Overview

  • Sonitpur held a district-level orientation on Monday chaired by Deputy Commissioner Ananda Kumar Das with Zilla Parishad leaders, master trainers and departmental heads.
  • Officials in Sonitpur set out to produce practical, achievable plans for 40 identified tribal villages using transect walks and focused group discussions.
  • In Kalaburagi, Deputy Commissioner Fauzia Tarannum inaugurated a three-day workshop for taluk-level officials under the Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan.
  • Master trainers will train 30 taluk officials from five departments to improve last-mile delivery and raise awareness of Central and State schemes.
  • The programme targets 30 States and Union Territories, 550 districts, 100,000 villages and 3,000 blocks, with leaders highlighting documentation and know-how gaps that limit access to benefits.
