- The Sherry Lansing Leadership Award recognizes leaders and philanthropists in entertainment and media, named after the former Paramount Pictures CEO and first woman to run a Hollywood studio.
- Previous recipients of the Sherry Lansing Leadership Award include Charlize Theron, Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, Oprah Winfrey, Barbra Streisand, and Viola Davis.
- The award ceremony coincides with The Hollywood Reporter's Women in Entertainment issue, featuring a list of the most powerful women in the entertainment industry.
- The Women in Entertainment Breakfast Gala will be attended by approximately 35 high school juniors and seniors participating in The Hollywood Reporter's Women in Entertainment mentorship program, which pairs young women from underserved high schools across Los Angeles with influential female executives in film and TV.
