Overview

• The 5 MW facility operates entirely off-grid using on-site solar generation and an integrated battery energy storage system.
• A fully automated closed-loop electrolyser adapts in real time to fluctuating solar inputs, boosting efficiency and safety.
• The pilot acts as a proof of concept for ANIL’s upcoming Green Hydrogen Hub in Mundra, which will expand production of green hydrogen and its derivatives.
• The project supports the National Green Hydrogen Mission by advancing energy self-sufficiency and reducing India’s reliance on imported fossil fuels.
• Green hydrogen produced at Kutch is expected to help decarbonize sectors such as fertilizer manufacturing, oil refining and heavy transport.
