Adam Wainwright Joins MLB Network as Analyst

The retired Cardinals pitcher will debut on Opening Day and continue covering games for Fox/FS1.

Adam Wainwright, former St. Louis Cardinals pitcher, joins MLB Network as an on-air analyst.
Wainwright will make his MLB Network debut on Opening Day, March 28, and will also cover a game on June 20 at Rickwood Field.
In addition to MLB Network, Wainwright will continue his role as a game analyst for Fox/FS1, covering about 15 contests this year.
Wainwright retired in October after an 18-season career with the Cardinals, during which he achieved 200 wins and a 3.53 ERA.
Wainwright's transition into broadcasting reflects his desire for a gradual shift while valuing family time and not wanting to step on the toes of long-time broadcasters.
