Adam Siao Him Fa and Hana Yoshida Triumph at Cup of China, Qualify for Grand Prix Final

Adam Siao Him Fa of France won the gold medal in the men's event at the Cup of China, overcoming a 14-point deficit from the short program with a dazzling free skate that included four quadruple jumps.
Siao Him Fa's victory, his second consecutive win, secured his qualification for the Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final in Beijing.
Shoma Uno of Japan, the two-time defending world champion, fell on his opening quad toe-loop and could only manage a double flip on a planned quad flip, finishing second with a total of 279.98 points.
18-year-old Hana Yoshida of Japan won the women's competition, her first career Grand Prix title, despite stepping out of her opening triple axel. She finished with a total of 203.97 points.
In the ice dance competition, Canadians Piper Gilles and Paul Poirer came back from being a point down after rhythm dance to win the free dance and take first place, qualifying for the GP final.
