Adam Sandler Stars in Netflix's Upcoming Sci-Fi Drama 'Spaceman'

Netflix has released the first teaser for its upcoming sci-fi drama 'Spaceman', starring Adam Sandler as an astronaut named Jakub who is on a solitary research mission to the edge of the solar system.
The film, directed by Johan Renck and based on the novel 'Spaceman of Bohemia' by Jaroslav Kalfař, explores Jakub's struggle to fix his marriage with his wife Lenka, played by Carey Mulligan, with the help of a mysterious ancient creature named Hanuš, voiced by Paul Dano.
The film also stars Kunal Nayyar, Lena Olin, and Isabella Rossellini, and is set to premiere on Netflix on March 1, 2024.
Director Johan Renck expressed his desire for Sandler's performance to be separate from the comedic roles he is typically known for, stating that Sandler is 'very intelligent, really smart, profound.'
This marks another dramatic role for Sandler, following his acclaimed performances in 'Uncut Gems' and 'Hustle', and continues his long-running collaboration with Netflix.
