Adam Sandler Stars in Netflix's New Sci-Fi Drama 'Spaceman'

Netflix has released the trailer for 'Spaceman', a new sci-fi drama starring Adam Sandler as an astronaut named Jakub, who is on a solitary research mission at the edge of the solar system.
The film, directed by Johan Renck, is based on the 2017 novel 'Spaceman of Bohemia' by Jaroslav Kalfař, and features Carey Mulligan as Jakub's earthbound wife Lenka, and Paul Dano as the voice of a mysterious creature named Hanuš.
The story revolves around Jakub's struggle with loneliness and the disintegration of his marriage, and his encounters with Hanuš, a spider-like creature who offers him emotional assistance.
The film will premiere at the 74th Berlin International Film Festival in February, and will be available for streaming on Netflix starting March 1, 2024.
Director Johan Renck has expressed his desire to showcase a different side of Adam Sandler in this film, emphasizing Sandler's intelligence and depth as an actor.
