Adam Brody Admits Losing 'Guardians' Role to Chris Pratt, Though Still Eager for Superhero Part

Adam Brody revealed he auditioned for the role of Star-Lord in Guardians of the Galaxy, which ultimately went to Chris Pratt.
Brody conceded Pratt was better suited physically, though he connected with the character's tone.
Over 200 actors auditioned for Star-Lord, including Joel Edgerton, Eddie Redmayne, and Glenn Howerton.
Brody has missed out on other major roles like Gigli, but will make his superhero debut in Shazam 2.
Currently starring in River Wild remake, Brody prefers not to stay in character for too long.
