ADAC Finds European Skipass Prices Up 4.7% for 2025/26 as Switzerland Leads Costs

The watchdog’s model shows a four-person family now frequently exceeds €200 per ski day outside lower‑priced countries.

Overview

  • ADAC’s third annual comparison across 30 resorts in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, France, Poland and Czechia reports an average year‑on‑year increase of 4.7% in skipass prices.
  • Zermatt is the most expensive at €106.39 for an adult day ticket, Feldberg in Germany is €42, and nearly half of the surveyed areas now charge more than €70 for adult day passes.
  • Switzerland records the steepest rises and the highest absolute fares, while Austria’s average adult day ticket of about €76 is roughly €23 higher than in Germany.
  • A four‑person family (two adults, a 14‑year‑old and a 10‑year‑old) often pays over €200 per day outside Germany, Poland and Czechia, reaching about €320 in Zermatt, with three‑day totals above €800 in LaaxFlims and Zermatt.
  • To reduce costs, ADAC recommends buying online and early, traveling outside school holidays or on weekdays, checking family and age‑band rules, and considering network passes or operator specials.
