- Acura released its first official images of the RSX Prototype this week ahead of its Monterey Car Week 2025 reveal in California.
- The RSX marks Acura’s departure from GM’s Ultium architecture as the first model on Honda’s in-house Zero Series electric platform.
- It will introduce Honda’s ASIMO operating system to integrate advanced driver-assist functions, infotainment and other vehicle electronics.
- Design elements carried over from the 2024 Performance EV concept include slim LED daytime running lights, large front air-intakes and a coupe-like roofline.
- Production is set to begin at Honda’s upgraded Ohio EV hub with sales targeted for the second half of 2026 and detailed specs still pending.
