Overview
- Darren Cunningham, who records as Actress, announced an eight-track solo album titled Radical Frame due this September on Ninja Tune.
- The release is presented as his first solo LP in two years and is counted as his tenth solo studio album under the Actress name, excluding separate collaborative projects.
- The published tracklist lists eight songs and credits two guest vocalists: CasIsDead on “Live by You” and Rainy Miller on the closer, “Sheets.”
- Actress issued the new single “Overchord” with a music video directed by Anna van der Velde that features stark white rooms, a puppeteering contraption, deconstructed sculptures, and hundreds of flying sheets of paper.
- As part of the rollout, Actress is booked to perform at Pitchfork Music Festival Paris in November and tickets are on sale via Dice, linking the album promotion to upcoming live dates.
