Actors Targeted in Kidnapping Scheme, Four Arrested in Uttar Pradesh

Actor Mushtaq Khan was kidnapped from Delhi airport on November 20 and held hostage in Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh, before managing to escape the next day.
The kidnappers lured Khan by offering an advance payment and air ticket under the pretense of inviting him to an event in Meerut.
During his captivity, the kidnappers obtained access to Khan's bank details and withdrew ₹2.2 lakh, though ₹1.04 lakh was later recovered by police.
The same gang had planned to abduct actor Shakti Kapoor using a similar tactic, but the plan fell through due to disagreements over advance payment amounts.
Authorities are investigating the gang's involvement in other celebrity kidnappings, with efforts ongoing to apprehend additional suspects, including a key member named Lavi.
