The hacked account shared fraudulent cryptocurrency promotions, including claims of a personal cryptocurrency called $KRISHNAN.
This is not the first time Trisha's social media has been targeted; a similar hacking incident occurred in 2017.
The hacking coincides with the success of her latest film, Vidaamuyarchi, which has received a mixed reception and performed well at the box office.
Trisha's Instagram post emphasized that any content shared on her X account during the breach is not from her.
