Actor Khalid Abdalla Summoned for Police Interview Over Pro-Palestinian Protest

The Metropolitan Police are investigating alleged breaches of protest restrictions during a January demonstration in London.

Khalid Abdalla, known for his role in 'The Crown,' has been summoned by the Metropolitan Police for a formal interview regarding his participation in a pro-Palestinian protest on January 18.
The protest, organized by the Palestine Solidarity Campaign, was initially restricted to a static rally by police but later saw demonstrators marching toward Trafalgar Square.
The Metropolitan Police cited potential breaches of Public Order Act conditions, claiming the protest caused significant disruption and violated pre-imposed restrictions.
Abdalla, along with other activists, including an 87-year-old Holocaust survivor, has publicly defended the right to protest, stating it is under threat in the UK.
Several prominent figures, including former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn and other activists, have also been interviewed or charged in connection with the protest.
