• Harjes died on May 27 at New York’s Mount Sinai West Hospital after complications from a cancer diagnosis first made in winter 2025.
• He earned acclaim for roles as Jack Dempsey on HBO’s Boardwalk Empire, Oscar the nurse in Netflix’s Daredevil and guard Clyde in Fox’s Gotham.
• In his most recent work, Harjes portrayed Pete Baylor across two seasons of NBC’s Manifest and appeared in episodes of Orange Is the New Black, Blue Bloods, FBI and Elementary.
• Born in Lubbock, Texas, on July 29, 1983, he began in college theater, off-Broadway productions and student films and was also a dedicated martial artist and gym regular.
