• Devin Harjes died on May 27 at Mount Sinai West Hospital in New York City from complications of cancer first diagnosed in February 2025.
• He was best known for playing Jack Dempsey in HBO’s Boardwalk Empire, Oscar in Marvel’s Daredevil, Clyde in Gotham and Pete Baylor on NBC’s Manifest.
• Born in Lubbock, Texas, in July 1983, he began his career in college theater and off-Broadway before transitioning to television and independent film.
• Harjes is survived by his parents Randy and Rosanne Harjes, his sister Trish Harjes, her husband Justin Kelley, their children, and his former wife Shiva Shobitha.
• In lieu of flowers, his family asked for donations to TKC Blessings to fund scholarships for young artists and industry peers have shared heartfelt condolences.
