The plane, piloted by Robert Sachs, experienced difficulties and crashed into the ocean shortly after takeoff from an island in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
Jessica Klepser, Oliver's ex-wife and mother of the girls, expressed gratitude for the outpouring of support she has received since the tragedy.
A GoFundMe campaign set up to cover funeral expenses and support the family has surpassed its $100,000 goal.
Oliver was known for his roles in films such as 'The Good German' and 'Speed Racer', and series like Netflix's 'Sense8'.
