Actor Alan Ruck, known for his roles in 'Succession' and 'Ferris Bueller’s Day Off', is being sued by Horacio Vela for negligence following a multi-vehicle crash in Los Angeles on Halloween night that ended with Ruck's truck crashing into a pizzeria.
Vela alleges that he was waiting at a red light when Ruck's truck forcefully struck his Hyundai Elantra, propelling his car into the intersection where it collided with another vehicle.
Vela claims he suffered severe injuries and damages as a result of the crash and was immediately taken to the hospital by ambulance.
Vela's attorney, Neama Rahmani, criticized Ruck's insurance company State Farm, claiming it has refused to accept responsibility for the crash and has not responded to attempts to negotiate a settlement.
The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed that drugs and alcohol were not factors in the accident, and no charges are being filed against Ruck.
