AceVector Lists Below IPO Price, Signalling Tepid Market Welcome

The Snapdeal parent’s weak debut reflects investor caution about its ability to grow marketplace scale and deliver durable unit economics.

Overview

  • AceVector, the parent of Snapdeal, opened trading at about ₹28.30 on the BSE on Monday, roughly an 11.6% discount to its ₹32 IPO price and cutting its market value to about ₹1,540 crore.
  • The company raised ₹420 crore through the IPO, which ran from September 25–29 and combined a ₹287 crore fresh issue with an offer for sale; the issue was oversubscribed 4.93 times.
  • AceVector reported revenue gains and a much smaller loss in FY26, with operating revenue at ₹510.3 crore and a restated net loss narrowed to ₹45.5 crore from ₹126.3 crore a year earlier.
  • Snapdeal’s marketplace showed NMV growth to ₹1,093.1 crore in FY26 and Unicommerce’s SaaS revenue jumped 51.6% to ₹204.3 crore, but the company remains tiny next to rivals — Meesho’s FY26 NMV was about ₹41,560 crore, a roughly 38x gap.
  • Proceeds are earmarked for marketing, technology and acquisitions to drive volume growth, yet uneven OFS outcomes for sellers and the need to raise transaction frequency and improve unit economics make meaningful scale the key unresolved risk for investors.
