- Accor presented the first images at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs’ “1925–2025: A Century of Art Deco” exhibition in Paris, where the train features as a principal exhibit.
- The revived service is scheduled to begin operations in 2027.
- Orient Express historian Arthur Mettetal located 17 original 1920s carriages using Google Maps and 3D satellite imagery before they were repatriated from the Poland–Belarus border.
- French ateliers including Rinck, Ateliers Jouffre and the Tapestry Manufacture of Burgundy are restoring the carriages, preserving Morrison & Nelson marquetry and Lalique glasswork.
