ACC Launches PMK Entertainment as 77 Ex-R&CPMK Staffers and Most Clients Join

The move reflects ACC’s bid to keep high-profile entertainment accounts together after IPG retired the R&CPMK name.

Overview

  • Cindi Berger becomes CEO of PMK Entertainment reporting to ACC founder Michael Nyman, with Alan Nierob named president.
  • Seventy-seven former R&CPMK employees join ACC’s network, with 35 assigned to PMK Entertainment, 20 to ACC Advisory and 22 to DKC.
  • Most R&CPMK clients move to ACC, and PMK Entertainment will focus on A-list talent, music, sports, premium content companies, corporate entertainment and crisis communications.
  • IPG supported the transition, has sunset the R&CPMK brand and continues related work under Rogers & Cowan while relocating other units within its portfolio.
  • ACC says it now has more than 620 employees across 12 offices, and PMK Entertainment will operate alongside ACC’s Ingenuity Group and other specialized agencies.
