ACC Freshman of the Year LB Luke Ferrelli Commits to Clemson From Transfer Portal

Ferrelli's commitment was reported Jan. 6 by On3's Hayes Fawcett and confirmed by multiple outlets.
The addition marks Clemson's second transfer in two days following cornerback Elliot Washington II from Penn State.
Ferrelli earned ACC Defensive Freshman of the Year and All-ACC honorable mention in 2025 after posting 91 tackles, 5.0 tackles for loss, one sack and one interception.
He appeared in all 13 games for Cal, logging a season-high 10 tackles against Stanford and sealing a win at Boston College with a late interception of Dylan Lonergan.
The 6-foot-3, 230-pound linebacker from Carlsbad, California redshirted in 2024 and entered college as a three-star recruit ranked No. 1,413 in the 2024 On3 Consensus.
