Academy Museum to Launch Bong Joon Ho and 'Barbie' Exhibits in Spring 2025

The Bong Joon Ho exhibit will explore his creative process, cinematic influences, and themes such as class disparity and social critique in films like 'Parasite' and 'The Host.'
A screening series featuring Bong Joon Ho's films, including 'Parasite' and 'Okja,' will accompany the exhibit's launch, with the director in attendance during opening weekend.
On May 23, 2025, the museum will debut 'Barbie to Anna Karenina: The Cinematic Worlds of Sarah Greenwood and Katie Spencer,' highlighting their production design for films like 'Barbie,' 'Anna Karenina,' and 'Beauty and the Beast.'
