Mike Maignan has been discharged from the hospital after a head collision with teammate Alex Jimenez during AC Milan's match against Udinese on Friday.
Maignan was briefly unconscious on the pitch before being stretchered off and spent the night under observation before his release on Saturday morning.
Udinese fans were applauded by Milan coach Sergio Conceicao for their supportive gesture of cheering as Maignan was carried off, a marked contrast to previous racist abuse directed at the goalkeeper in January 2024.
