Abu Dhabi to Host World's Second Sphere Entertainment Venue

The iconic spherical venue, following its Las Vegas success, will expand to the UAE capital, enhancing its cultural and entertainment landscape.

Sphere Entertainment Co. and Abu Dhabi's Department of Culture and Tourism announced plans to construct the second Sphere venue in the UAE capital.
The new venue will mirror the size and technological features of the original Las Vegas Sphere, which includes a 20,000-person capacity and a massive LED display.
Abu Dhabi will finance the construction and pay a franchise fee to Sphere Entertainment, along with annual fees for creative content and technology use.
The expansion aligns with Abu Dhabi's Tourism Strategy 2030, aiming to establish the city as a cultural and innovation hub and increase annual visitors to 39 million.
The Las Vegas Sphere, which opened in 2023, has become a major attraction, hosting concerts and events with its cutting-edge audio-visual technology.
