Abu Dhabi Deploys Autonomous RoboSweeper Fleet to Clean the Corniche

The city’s new cleaners, built by K2’s Autogo under the Smart and Autonomous Systems Council’s supervision, signal a push to integrate autonomous systems into daily services.

Overview

  • The Integrated Transport Centre, part of the Department of Municipalities and Transport, launched the RoboSweepers along the Abu Dhabi Corniche.
  • Vehicles use sensors and modern navigation to follow pre-programmed routes, cleaning and sanitising pavements and pedestrian areas without direct human control.
