Overview
- Aguas Bonaerenses S.A. (ABSA) has started planned pipe-replacement works that are currently interrupting water service in a defined quadrant of Bahía Blanca.
- The outage affects the area bounded by Charlone, Paraguay, Vieytes and Sixto Laspiur with work concentrated on Juan Molina at the intersections with Tucumán and Castelli.
- ABSA says the suspension has no fixed end time and will last until DIPAC completes the replacement work on site.
- Residents are asked to store water in advance, limit use to drinking, cooking and basic hygiene, and report problems via 0800-999-2272 or ABSA’s Facebook and Telegram channels.
- ABSA is one of the province’s main water operators serving 95 localities, and routine large-scale recambios like this are used to prevent future system failures but can produce temporary, localized outages.
